Age Groups
Wrestling is a sport that caters to athletes of all ages. Here at K-Bay we have 3 main age groups.

Youth Age Group
This group of athletes are between the ages of 8 and 13 (although some are younger). Focus for this age group is on having fun, playing games, gross and fine motor skills. In addition to this Youth Aged wrestlers will be learning the basics rules and techniques used in the sport of wrestling. At this age group the goal is having fun rather than a lot of competition. There are usually one or two tournaments before Christmas before Christmas, and then several in the second half the season (January-May). As athletes skill level improves there are opportunities to travel to the Ontario Youth Championships, and the Canada East Championships.
